CHEMA (ref.

CHEMA (ref. 20366) was found lying next to the decomposed corps of his buddy dog whose throat was cut to extract the microchip (left picture). This was reported to the police but we know animal related criminal ofenses are not punished as they should or autorities don’t even bother to investigate most times. Chema saved his life because he had no chip. It all happened here in the Marbella municipality, not inland nor in a remote, private plot. It happened few minutes’ drive from the town centre and near luxury urbanisations, in a very popular local resort for families picnicking on weekends and a popular spot for nature and hicking lovers too. Now Chema is with us (right picture), recovering from his traumatic past and severe malnutrition. We are really sorry for the thousands of “Chemas” who will end their days like Chema’s mate, or run over by a car or starved to death tied to a chain in this backward, third-world country regarding animal rights and welfare.
